Klarwatt is an independent information service helping Norwegian households understand and reduce their electricity costs. We are not an electricity provider — we give you the tools to make better decisions.

What We Do

We offer free calculators, real-time price information, and provider comparison. All data is sourced from public APIs including hvakosterstrommen.no, Forbrukerrådet, and NVE.

How We Make Money

Klarwatt uses affiliate links. When you click a link to an electricity provider and sign up, we may receive a commission. All affiliate links are clearly marked.

Affiliate revenue does not influence our recommendations. We rank providers based on price, Trustpilot scores, and complaint statistics from Forbrukerrådet.

Data Accuracy

Price data is updated hourly from hvakosterstrommen.no. Calculators use official rates and models. We always cite sources and show last-updated timestamps.
